My best Greetings!!!! to all my friends, hope all of you must be enjoying one more interesting weekend. Friends, you will agree with me, regarding my statement in one of my last blogs where I had mentioned that Google is implementing its resolutions of the year according to some planned strategy. It seems Google has gone through my words mentioned in that blog and therefore it is making my words true. Now the latest update coming up from Google is that Google is speculating to enables users to mute the advertisements displayed on Google display network. To this new application Google has named as “Mute this Ad” that are appearing on its display network.
To use this application users will be required to move towards small mark (x) marked on the right corner at the top of the screen. As soon as they opt for (x) mark, user will be delivered with a confirmation note of “Ad Muted” after which the particular advertisement from that agency does not appear from Google, however the same can displayed if advertised from some other agency. This application does not seems to be any beneficial deal for advertisers as it does not indicate how many times the particular advertisement was made mute.
However there are reports which depict that in the beginning Google is speculating to apply this application on its remarketing advertisements, this might be some relaxing news for the users who are not interested to watch such ads and feel them as wastage of time. With this new application Google speculates that the opinions received from the users will be helpful for the companies promoting their products on Google to work more on germaneness of your advertisement.
Although the feedback from the users is still yet to come and the relevance of this application is still hidden in future but what I personally applaud this movement from Google that rewards the users with facility of ignoring the ads which they do not want to see. It will be enable the users to sifter the ads they are not interested to see. This will enable Google not to invest extra efforts on its advertisement strategy especially for those ads to which people even do not want to watch. Though the reactions are yet to come, therefore at present we are left with an option of waiting for feedback from the ultimate users, Of-course we are also one of them.
